Food Resources
Between December of 2020 and May of 2021, we distributed over 1,500 food boxes to more than 400 families in the county. Now we don’t have the boxes, but we do have more resources to use. Read more here about:

21 Days of Wellness
Use this 21-day challenge as a guide to explore new healthy habits. This program sets small daily goals for you to try for 21 days. The first week focuses on exercise, the second is about your mind, and the last explores healthy eating habits. You can try this anytime, and we hope you find some habits you maintain long term.

Walking Club
What: The Adams County Physical Fitness Task Force organizes community walking parties each season and other events such as longer hikes. The walks are FREE and open to everyone. Dogs on leashes are welcome except on walks in the orchards. Use good walking shoes and bring a bottle of water.
When: Follow us on Facebook or Instagram or check our Events Page to know when there are walks/hikes. The walking parties are in the fall and the summer, but there are more hikes throughout the year.
Where: All over Adams County! Here is a link to a website with all of the maps, so you can walk on your own schedule.
COVID-19 Note: Please only walk with your family members, maintain social distancing, and bring a mask in case social distancing is not possible. These walks will not happen in a large group- you can do them on your own schedule, whenever the site is open during the week.
